Suresh Raina, a seasoned Indian cricketer, commended Virat Kohli’s attitude towards fielding and elaborated saying that Kohli’s presence influenced the other players’ attitude towards the game.
During his captaincy Kohli brought in a fitness revolution to Indian cricket, which improved the fielding aspect of the game. He set the tone on how high the standards should be when it comes to fitness and fielding. He is now 36, and to play cricket at the highest level, he is very disciplined with his exercises and fitness.

Kohli’s teammate in the ODI World Cup 2011, Raina, mentioned how Kohli is an asset in a dressing room and touched on the matter of how he prepares for fielding.
“His mindset is very different. He is, as I said, I think good teammate to have in a dressing room but he is always on the switch. When he practices, when he does his preparation, when he goes out there and does fielding, and whenever the chips are down, he will be the first person to come and say, let’s fight, let’s do fielding,” Raina told Star Sports.
Former Indian cricketer Raina made a statement on his fellow countryman Virat Kohli and said that along with himself, Kohli is from the northern region of India and they all backout from playing any game because it is too intense and there is great risk of loss.
He greatly appreciated how much enthusiasm I fielded with as his diving and fielding enthusiasm seemed to be infectious, making everyone else’s attitudes change for the better. His aim, as he puts it is, “leading from the front”. A, ‘I won’t die,’ at least on the field, ‘spirit is what we come from.’
Kohli will next play Ranjhi Trophy match after taking a break from the international circuit waiting for the BCCI to formulate a stronger policy regarding the participation of Indian internatinoal players in domestic competitions.
In the last few days, Kohli is reportedly seen training with former India and Royal Challengers Bangalore batting coach, Sanjay Banger, and new footage has surfaced on various social media platforms. Read More Click Here
